Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty
Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress who was born in Berkeley on the 1st October 1995. Her most well-known role is as an actress, having appeared in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004) and Chrissie Mair's Content House.
Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is comprised of actors as is she, herself doing both professions. At the age of nine the actress made her acting debut in Sergio Cittis's Sogni e bisogni. The role she played was the main one in Cristina Comencini's Zoo (1988) and also appeared as a part of Michele Savi's 1989 movie The Church. The following year she played Nanni Moretti's daughter in Red Wood Pigeon (1989) (also directed by Moretti). Close Friends (written and directed by Michele Placido) was when Asia's acting career truly took off. The roles she played changed from very young before becoming more mature. Cannes International Film Festival was a great movie's success. She's made three films along with her father, Trauma, The Stendhal syndrome, and Phantom of Opera. The Phantom of the Opera marks her third collaboration together with the director's father. The others are Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a Nozze demonstrated Asia's intense way in acting. She portrayed Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista. It was a character in which she was so intricate that she earned the David di Donatello prize as the most outstanding actress. Patrice Chereau was the director. Queen Margot and she had an appearance as a physically disabled girl in the film. In 1995 Asia worked with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion, for which she received a prize from David di Donatello. It was also released in Brooklyn, New York it was awarded an award at the Williamsburg film festival. After directing numerous music videos the actress gave birth to the first of her daughters, Anna Lou. In 2002 Asia appeared as a character in The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action-Thrille, directed by Vin Diesel. Asia can also be the author of numerous stories that have been published in a variety of famous magazines.
